That Therapy is located inside Family Worship Center in a private business office. When you arrive, please park in the lot next to the flagpole and enter through the church office entrance.
Let the front desk know you’re here for your therapy appointment, and they will guide you to the waiting area.
Emmanuel will meet you there and walk you to the therapy office when it’s time for your session. Restrooms are available, and we encourage you to arrive about 15 minutes early to settle in before we get started.

Before we dive into counseling, we’ll start with some brief informal dialogue each session. You will then have an opportunity to share, connect, and talk through your current situation, and explore how we can best support you. At the start of this session, we’ll take care of any necessary paperwork. After that, we’ll discuss your main concerns, your goals, and walk through what therapy might look like. You’ll also have time to ask any questions you may have.
If it feels like a good next step, we’ll schedule your next session.
The first few sessions are all about hearing your story, identifying key areas to focus on, and beginning to set meaningful goals. From there, we’ll work together toward relief, growth, and lasting change.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Each counseling session lasts approximately 50 minutes. If you feel like you need extra time, longer sessions are available upon request and must be arranged in advance.
Shorter sessions are not offered to ensure you have the full space and time needed to focus and accomplish your goals.
Both in-person and virtual sessions are available, giving you flexibility to choose the setting that works best for you and your schedule.

At That Therapy, your story, your values, and your personal beliefs matter. Every person’s journey is unique, and therapy should reflect that. Whether you want to explore your faith, focus purely on practical growth, or find a blend of both, your sessions will always be tailored to you.
This is a judgment-free space — people from all backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences are welcome here. You guide the process, and together, we’ll create an environment where your values are respected and your goals stay at the center of our work.

That Therapy is a private-pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill, which some clients use to request reimbursement from their insurance if they have out-of-network benefits. To make the process easier, I also offer the option to use Mentaya — a service that helps you navigate insurance reimbursements and can save you the hassle of figuring it out alone.

My standard rate for individual therapy is $125 per session. For Christian counseling, I offer a reduced rate of $100 to help make this service more affordable for the faith-based community. Payment is required before the start of each session. Longer sessions can be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

Therapy focuses on your emotional wellness, mental health, and providing tools to navigate life’s challenges. Coaching is designed for professionals or individuals navigating transitions, career decisions, or those looking for clarity and direction in personal development. Premarital counseling is offered to couples preparing for marriage, providing tools for communication, conflict resolution, and building a strong foundation — I use the SYMBIS Assessment to guide this process.

Scheduling is simple and can be done through my booking page, where you’ll complete all necessary forms and assessments to help me get a clear understanding of your current situation. You’ll receive a confirmation for any appointments requested, and I’ll walk you through next steps from there.

That’s completely normal — starting therapy is a big step. You’ll never be met with judgment here. The first consultation is a low-pressure space to ask questions, share what you feel comfortable with, and experience how I can support you. Remember: being nervous means you care — and caring about your mental health is one of the strongest, most courageous things you can do.

Yes, confidentiality is legally binding in therapy. What you share stays between us, with a few exceptions required by law to protect your safety or the safety of others. We will review and discuss all legal exceptions to confidentiality during your sessions, so you’ll always know exactly where things stand. If you ever want me to communicate with another professional or individual on your behalf, we’ll use a signed Release of Information form to do so — nothing is shared without your permission unless legally required.

That looks different for everyone, but it’s always best to start strong. I encourage new clients to begin with four weekly sessions so we can work at a steady pace, get to know your story, and build momentum toward your goals. From there, we’ll decide together whether it makes sense to continue weekly, switch to biweekly, or transition to monthly appointments based on your needs.

Yes! I offer both in-person and virtual sessions so you can choose the option that works best for your schedule and comfort level.

Life happens — I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be subject to a fee.
